Nancy Hurrell is a performer, teacher, and arranger of music for the harp. Living in Boston, Nancy plays solo classical harp for events, and she is the harpist for tea at the Taj Boston Hotel in Boston. Nancy performs concerts on historical harps and is the harpist in the early music group, Renaissonics. Nancy also plays in the O'Carolan Consort , and performs on celtic harp for concerts and festivals.

Nancy presents lectures on historical harps and is the chair of the Historical Harp Society of America Survey Project of pre-1945 harps. She is a harp consultant for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where she works with the collection and gives gallery talks.

Nancy enjoys teaching workshops for groups around the country. Her books of harp arrangements are popular in the US and abroad. She is a member of the collaborative faculty at the The Boston Conservatory, specializing in early music and Scottish/Irish music.
